Thor: Ragnarok

This latest Thor movie is one of my favorites. It really surprised me from both a plot perspective as well as its general tone.  It contained far more humor than the previous two Thor movies combined and was more in line with Guardians of the Galaxy and Ant-Man in that regards.  It has many moments of violence which parents need to be aware of when considering whether to have their kids watch this movie.

The premise of the movie centers around Ragnarok which is the end of the gods and of Asgard.  Thor is on a mission to avert Ragnarok from occurring while dealing with some personal discoveries along the way.  I believe we see more character growth in this movie than the previous two and are given more insights into Thor and his family.

Thor: Ragnarok gets a definite thumbs up from me.  I only had one disappointment and it concerned the technical side of the movie.  With how much technology there is concerning 3D effects, I felt that this is where Thor: Ragnarok fell short That being said, I feel like I don’t really need to see the movie in 3D to truly enjoy it.
