I am sure just about everyone has heard of Chapman’s book, The Five Love Languages.  Well there is also a book that focuses on children too.   The 5 Love Languages of Children, by Gary Chapman and Ross Campbell discusses that children also have five love languages which when we as parents discover them can help us to nurture our children in order for them to have a better chance at a healthy growth and development as well as help you and your child to have a better relationship.

The book discusses the five love languages:  physical touch, words of affirmation, quality time, gifts and acts of service.

I admit I had never read the original book when I received The 5 Love Languages of Children to read ad review so the concepts were new to me.  As a homeschooler I am well aware that there are different learning styles that children have which affect how we need to teach them and how they learn from us.  I had never really considered that there was something similar to how we approach them on a more personal relationship level.  The 5 Love Languages of Children is a wonderful book that I feel all parents new and old should read and apply to your family in order to build stronger relationships and in order to nurture and strengthen your children to be strong and confident in their lives.
