Cowgirls N’ Angels will be in theaters 5/25
Cowgirls N’ Angels is a heartwarming movie that tells the story of Ida, a feisty and rebellious young girl, who has dreams of finding her father, a rodeo rider. While searching for her dad, she connects with the Sweethearts of the Rodeo, a team of young female rodeo riders run by former rodeo star Terence Parker. Recognizing Ida’s innate talent for trick riding, Terence recruits her for their ranks. Accepted wholeheartedly by her new “family,” Ida finds a new passion that redefines her life, and may also help her find the father she’s been searching for.
The film stars Bailee Madison, Alicia Witt, Kathleen Rose Perkins, Frankie Faison, Madison Burge, Leslie-Anne Huff, Noelle Coet, Drew Waters with Jackson Rathbone and James Cromwell.
I was given the opportunity to watch Cowgirls N’ Angels prior to its release to theaters in order to provide a review to my readers.
I really enjoyed this film and better yet love that it is a family film. It is a refreshing change to all those flashy tech movies or the ones with a dark storyline that are being pushed these days. This is more in line with the wholesome family movies that used to be produced when morality and good were virtues that were highlighted and praised. I miss those days when what was in the movies and tv were appropriate for all ages and that was the norm instead of the exception. If you like horses and rodeos then you are sure to love this film.
