Homeschool and public holidays
I was thinking this morning whether or not to do school. After all it is a public holiday: Martin Luther King Day.. I opted for alight day since I believe that the more educated and enlightened we become the more freedom we have as individuals. However it made me think about whether or not we as homeschoolers should declare our own holidays in celebration of those Homeschool pioneers or for religious days that the schools do not fel teh need to celebrate and honor. I think this deserves some more thought and consideration and I will get back to you on this. Any thoughts from you?????
