Planning a Disney trip
For our family, WDW is one of our favorite vacation spots. It is not a vacation for folks who want to just sit back and relax but instead is normally pretty hectic but extremely fun.
We normally plan to go a year in advance so that you can get great deals on room rates and different packages. Our next trip we booked in advance and planned during a time when the dining plan would be free with our resort stay. We like the convenience and benefits you can get from staying on site but don;t necessarily care about having to have the top rooms so we go economy when we stay at WDW. We had the chance to go to WDW when Pop Century first opened so we got to be one of the first guests staying there. That was quite a treat and this time we decided to go back. When you stay on site you don’t have to deal with traffic and parking as much and you can go back easily to your room if you need to for a quick break or a swim during the day.
One of the fun things for our family is to plan our trip. It is part of the vacation experience for us. We take time to plan what part or parks we plan on doing each day. We then break down what we all want to see at each park and a basic strategy for doing so. Since there is a ton of information out there and it is all available for you this is fairly easy to do. Another good idea is to read up on WDW planning from one of the many guides out there. There are so many of them and most of them are really good and helpful.
We are in the midst of planning another WDW trip and we are really excited!

Looking forward to completing the planning phase and getting on with the vacation phase.
